Ideal Bulletin — 17th July

It’s been a busy couple of weeks…

The first committees are now being held under our new structure — and we’re starting to be able to use the new procedures we’ve brought in to make the Town Council’s work more visible, engaging and efficient.

In our latest audio update we catch up with Dave Garwood, Chair of the Business and Tourism Committee and our Mayor, and Dan Taylor, Chair of the Community and Recreation Committee, about what happened in those meetings last week. We also get an update on the Neighbourhood Plan. Have a listen to find out what’s happening, what’s coming up for the town in these areas, and how you can get involved.

Details of what all the committees discuss will be on the Town Council website, in the minutes. That’s also the place to go to find out the agendas for future meetings.

We’re particularly pleased that we can now start using GrantFinder, for the Town Council and community groups to find – and bid for – funds for our community. This will help us to focus public money in areas that need it most.
