Raised in Bradford, Emma has a great love for the town and its community, and a deep understanding of what makes it tick. At Ideal Bradford’s first public meeting, seeing that so many people shared her belief in a need for change, she was inspired to stick up her hand and shout “I’m in!”
Emma is passionate about opening up local democracy and about young people’s participation. She believes that the Town Council should respond to the concerns of the people who live here, and that it should care for the whole community.
An experienced retail manager, she has a strong working understanding of how important interpersonal relationships are in making organisations run well and achieve the best they can.
“I believe Ideal Bradford can make a real positive change by actively listening, working together and creating a sustainable environment for everyone in our town.”
