As a resident of Bradford on Avon South Ward, Paige has been an engaged part of the community since she first moved to the town in November 2012. She is a trustee of the Preservation Trust, managing the social and events programme. She has been an intrinsic part of the Women’s 100 and the International Women’s Day celebrations. She is an active member of CLuB (‘Clean up Bradford’, a voluntary street cleaning group), the Bradford on Avon Footbridge Canopy project and the ongoing project to fund a skate park for the town.
Working for the community has always been part of Paige’s life. An American by birth, she came to the UK in 2001 and became a British citizen in 2014. With a corporate business background, Paige spent her spare time volunteering with children with special needs, and as a tutor for underprivileged young people.
“I want to work to help make our town fully inclusive. I’d like to help everyone who lives here feel valued and that we all work together to make Bradford on Avon the best town it can be.”
